*Personal* Cybersecurity- Training for OSCP

Note: I write this blog mostly for myself, I'll have a topic title that will let ya know if the post will be journal-ish/personal. This is one of them so feel free to skip.

I'm taking a break from daytrading for a year or two. I've taken several breaks in the past before, it's just been a crazy year for everyone with all the profitable traders I know beating their personal records. Even Dux (My mentor) just broke 7digits in one month this June which is insane. $1.1 million in a month, he just made more in 1 month than some people will save up in a lifetime. I know a lot of 6 figure traders making their way towards their 7figure/yr mark as well. I've also reached a level that I could only dream about before--setting new PR's but it's also opened my eyes that I'm reaching my boundaries in current skill level/emotional management. And that I'd rather be doing something else while I'm young. Anyways, here is Dux's June recap:

RIP my old blog: https://daytradingprogress.blogspot.com/

During the spring, when I was about to interview for Galvanize's Data Science Immersion program to further my data analytic skills/algorithmic trading/quant skills. Vet Tec ran out of funds and a friend introduced me to Cyber Security. At first, I couldn't believe this was a real thing--alot of the concepts were stuff I already knew about as hobbies when I was young. Fastforwarding a few months to today, I'm in Divergence Academy's Pentesting Bootcamp that'll finish in March. I'm planning on taking the OSCP around March/April so I'll be journaling my progress here.. Probably on either a weekly, daily basis or per box that I root. It will all just depend on what I feel like.

Current Goals til Dec:
- Go through Hackthebox's Academy

- Go through Hackthebox's Challenges

- Go through Hackthebox's Easy/Medium Boxes

- TryHack me stuff as backup/extra content
